Welcome to Bétaillole, a 2.5 hectare oasis of nature, peace and tranquility, located in St. Bonnet-Elvert, a charming village in the department Corrèze - the “Green Heart” of France. St. Bonnet-Elvert is perched on a mountain top between Tulle, the main city of Corrèze, and the idyllic town of Argentat on the Dordogne. We are just 45 km from Brive-la-Gaillarde on the A20 from Limoges to Toulouse.
Bétaillole (pronounced bay-tie-yol) offers:
one large gîte for up to 12 guests
2 spacious family gîtes for 2-5 guests
a cozy studio gîte for 2 guests
All our accommodations are located in three buildings in a lovingly renovated traditional 18th Century Limousin farm.
Whether you come from the city or the countryside, in Bétaillole you will find plenty of peace. Here you will be woken by the sounds of birds chirping and the breeze passing through the trees. On a busy day you may hear woodpeckers pecking and cows mooing. Later in the evening an owl’s hoot may pierce the silence.
Perched at approx. 500 meters Bétaillole offers a beautiful view of the Cantal Mountains. Sitting on the patio you can take in the view while watching the sun rise. Once here you will be surrounded by forests with miles and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails and many rivers and streams which flow into the nearby Dordogne.
